Fancipak Cucumber

The Carolina cucumber is a medium green, three to four-inch variety developed at the Clemson University in South Carolina. Its long, blocky fruit has an excellent flavor and texture, and is ready for harvest in 55 days. You can purchase a 100-seed packet from Everwilde Farms or Walmart. Its dense foliage protects the fruit from sunscald and the yields are high, too.

The gynoecious Fancipak M is a great choice for your vegetable garden. The plant is resistant to mosaic virus and powdery mildew. Early Pride cucumber is a vigorous plant that produces an abundant harvest in 55 days. A good selection for a vegetable garden is the Salad Bush, which has an early ripening period. The ‘Fancipak’ variety is ideal for container growing, with a deep green skin and a sweet, smooth flesh.
