Description

Better Boy Tomato Seeds are an heirloom variety that are non-GMO.

These seeds are known for producing large, juicy tomatoes with a great taste.

They are a popular choice for both home gardens and commercial growers.

To germinate Better Boy Tomato Seeds, fill a seed tray or pots with seed compost and water it well.

Sow the seeds on the surface, and cover with a layer of compost or vermiculite.

Place the tray or pots in a propagator or cover with a plastic bag and put it in a warm place (minimum temperature of around 15°C or 60°F).

Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged, and germination should occur within 7-14 days.

When the seedlings are large enough to handle, transplant them into 3in pots.

When all risk of frost has passed, transplant the young plants into a greenhouse or 18in apart in the growing location.

For best results, grow Better Boy Tomatoes in full sun and in well-drained soil that is rich in organic matter.

Provide a support system, such as cages or stakes, to keep the plants upright as they grow.

Water regularly and fertilize with a organic fertilizer every two weeks during the growing season.

After the first fruits appear, pinch out the side shoots that develop in the leaf axils to promote larger fruits.

Be sure to keep an eye out for pests or diseases, and take action as necessary to keep your plants healthy.

With proper care, you can expect to harvest Better Boy tomatoes from mid-summer to early fall.
