These non-GMO heirloom seeds are perfect for growing escarole, chicory, and frisee.

All of these greens have a bitterness that is perfect for adding flavor to salads, soups, and more.

Batavian endive, a member of the chicory family, contains radicchio, escarole, frisee, and curly endive. It has a crisp texture and a sweet, nutty flavor that is pleasantly modified by a mild bitterness.

It can be served raw or cooked.
