Boston Pickling Heirloom Cucumber

(4 customer reviews)

These heirloom cucumber seeds,
from Boston Pickling,
are something special.

This is the only place I know of
where you can get these seeds.

They’re a bit expensive,
but they’re worth it.

The cucumbers that grow from these seeds
are something else.

They’re long and slender,
and have a delicious flavor.

I can’t wait to plant these seeds,
and see the beautiful cucumbers they produce.

Description

If you’re looking for a reliable, high-yielding cucumber variety to plant in your garden, look no further than Boston Pickling Heirloom Cucumber seeds.

These cukes are known for their short length and solid flesh, making them perfect for pickling.

30 seeds

Light: Full sun

Fruit size: 3 to 7 inches

Germinates: 7-10 days

Matures: 55 days

Plant spacing: 36 to 48 inches apart

Plant size: Long vine Heirloom. A favorite of gardeners for high yields of short cukes with solid flesh.

Cucumbers, which are almost all of the cucumber family, are thin-skinned, with an even nutritional expanse, and a nice green shade. Vines bear continually. Their flesh is crispy and highly receptive to pickling spices. Gentle, scrumptious, and should be using in pickling recipes, whether sweet, or acidic.

May be harvested at sizes from 3 to 7 inches, depending on your pickling needs.

To maximize space, place plants 1 foot apart and train them up a trellis.

They came in packaged nicely and we planted them immediately. They were already 2 inches tall within 3 days. Thank you so much!

  2. Susan E

Lovely seeds, these are plump and ready for planting. Directions are under the individual seed’s name. Germination rates for each variety are on the package. This vendor ships quickly and prices are reasonable. Seeds are organic and from heirloom or NON-GMO plants. I have not seen hybrids on this site. I am well pleased with this vendor and highly recommend!

  3. Rachel Warren

Fast shipping and 100% germination. Update: wow they have started producing and I couldn’t be happier. This is just the start of the season and I’m getting this or more each day. I have 8 plants going and 2 getting going. What and amazing pickling plant. The flavor was great too. I’ve got some pickles started and we can’t wait to try them!!!
