Growing Savoy cabbage is easy and requires little care. The historical region of the Alps is home to this variety, which is very similar to the European version. In fact, the savoy region includes Switzerland, France, and Italy. Since this variety does not do well in hot climates, you should grow it in the fall or in early spring.
