Edamame is a preparation of immature soybeans in the pod, popular in East Asian cuisines. The pods are boiled or steamed and may be served with salt or other condiments, or added in salad, stir-fry, and rice bowls.

The word edamame is Japanese for “beans on a branch.” In addition to being a good source of soy protein, edamame is rich in healthy fiber, antioxidants and vitamin K.

THESE SEEDS ARE AWESOME! A preschool or elementary teacher’s best friend if you would like to do a seed segment. They germinated within 24 hours like “magic beans”! I’m growing mine in pots next to a fence and they are starting to grow up it. (Sorry, was unable to add a photo!?‍♀️) Can’t wait to try the edamame! May even try it as a houseplant this winter to enjoy them year round. ?

This was my first time we’ve ever tried to grow edamame. It was amazing! The grew while we struggled with other plants. Easy to harvest and they taste great!

I made a large purchase of seeds from this shop for my garden this year. I am reviewing at this point on shipping and service alone. I will do an update post of germination and harvest(hopefully) later! First of all i have to give credit where it is due I ordered 35 items and they didn’t miss a single item on my order all in perfect quantity! Second their is clearly more seeds and onions in bundles than indicated so they dont skimp you out!! Third they gave me 10 free gifts none of them the same of what I ordered. So I get to experiment on some extra seeds and plants that I had been eyeing but didn’t want to commit to, I’m excited to try out some bean plants and sunflowers just to name a few of the free gifts. I will be back again no doubt for my garden seed orders!!

Planted end of May and big tasty beans came in August!

  5. Sadie Terrebonne

Seeds came in excellent condition and was very well packaged! The seeds came in a little late but no fault of the seller. We thought the post office may have lost it when really it just showed up a little late. Excellent customer service and excellent product! Can not wait to grow these babies!
